Royston Station to Foxton Station
A predominantly pavement-and-road walk, with a gravel track between fields, a section through a golf centre and a footpath across fields and through a small wooded area near the end. Includes a stile and a single-track lane with no pavement.
13km. Flat terrain.
A pavement runs beside a busy A road at the start with large roundabouts that have no pedestrian crossings. A fast-traffic road must be crossed where the gravel track ends. A single-track lane with no pavement could be a concern in bad weather or poor light.
Lunch: Melbourn has further options including a Co-op and a village store.
