Set out on a beautiful walk directly from Whittlesford Parkway Station.

Whittlesford Parkway Station Circular via the Lawn

A gentle circular from the station to the village centre and back, on streets, footpaths and a water-meadow crossing of the river. Mostly flat, though some paths can be uneven.

Some footpaths may be uneven.

Highlights: the Lawn (the landscaped grounds of an 18th-century house, now a village green with mature trees) and Church of St Mary and St Andrew (Grade I listed, with 12th-century origins).

Lunch: Whittlesford Village Stores, and three village pubs — the Red Lion, the Tickell Arms and the Bees in the Wall.
