Drigg Station to Sellafield Station
Mainly level shore and Drigg Dunes Nature Reserve, with views over the Irish Sea to Black Combe.
Drigg is a request stop. Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Beach section can be cut off by exceptional spring tides; check tide times.
Highlights: Drigg Dunes Nature Reserve (A coastal dune nature reserve between Drigg and Seascale with views over the Irish Sea).

Drigg Station Circular via Drigg Beach
Wild, lightly-trodden beach of sand and dunes from the mouth of the River Irt, with rock pools, barn owls, deer and red squirrels.

Beach access depends on the tide; at high tide expect a scramble over pebbles and eroded dunes.
