Redditch to Wythall
Recommended: Some great views from the elevated sections. An enjoyable route via Rowney Green and Weatheroak Hill with much less road walking than other versions and some great views from elevated sections. Very muddy in places (boots needed), with some paths following field perimeters where crops obscure the line and stiles in need of repair.
Time: 3h–6h30
Warnings: Crossing the busy A435, particularly around Wythall, needs care and extra vigilance. Some stiles are in poor condition. Crops can obscure field paths, requiring you to follow field perimeters. Very muddy in places; boots needed.
Walk details: Slow Ways.

Alvechurch to Wythall
An easy-to-follow walk through lovely rolling countryside and partly on country lanes and field paths with some stiles. Can be muddy or very boggy in parts. Passes under the M42 via an underpass.
Time: 2h30–4h30
Lunch: Food and drink available at Alvechurch and Wythall, but nothing on route.
Warnings: Care needed crossing the busy A435 Alcester Road roundabout at Wythall, where the route crosses a couple of the exits; there are refuges but it is a fast road. Some stiles and poor-condition footpaths. Can be muddy.
Walk details: Slow Ways.

Wythall to Henley-in-Arden
A varied route on good pavement out of Wythall, then field paths and woodland through the Forest of Arden and crossing the M42 by an underpass. Several sections are not well walked or signposted and need careful navigation; paths can get very muddy in wet weather. Passes Clowes Wood and New Fallings Coppice; can be split at The Lakes station.
Time: 4h–7h30
Lunch: Lunch opportunities in Wood End or Tanworth in Arden.
Warnings: Several poorly signposted, faint sections need careful navigation with a map or OS app; paths to Kidpile Farm get very muddy in wet weather.
