Gainsborough Central to Saxilby

A walk that begins with all-road walking to Sturton-by-Stow, then a mixture of tracks and footpaths, then field paths that can be heavy going when recently cultivated or ploughed and before a long walk through the outskirts of Gainsborough. Sturton-by-Stow has a Co-op for a break.

Lunch: Sturton-by-Stow has a Co-op for a break.

Warnings: The road section to Sturton-by-Stow is quite busy, requiring you to step onto the verge for passing cars.

A mostly good route on rights of way. One path southwest of Bole was an impenetrable mix of bramble shoots and hedge clippings.
