Sandown Station to Brading Station (Hampshire)
15m direct from Ryde Esplanade.
A lovely, mainly flat and attractive route, partly alongside the railway, that crosses marshland which can become almost impassable and flooded during the winter months. It is possible to skirt the edge of the marsh and but sturdy walking boots or wellies are advisable.
Easy: 4km, moderate ascents.
The marsh section is often flooded and only passable in wellington boots during winter; skirting the edge is possible but still needs sturdy footwear. Can be muddy.
