Harrow-on-the-Hill Station to Wembley Central Station
the views from the top are well worth it. A walk in two halves: a long stretch of residential streets and local shopping parades, then a greener section on the Capital Ring and Capital Ring Link through footpaths, playing fields and common land and climbing the hill at Harrow. Some footpaths may be muddy or slippery after rain. Follows the Capital Ring and Capital Ring Link; passes through the playing fields of Harrow School and Lord Byron's favourite view at the top of the hill.
Easy: 6km, moderate ascents.
The footpath alongside Northwick Park Hospital is quite narrow, and the Capital Ring section may be wet or muddy after rain.

Northwood Station to Harrow-on-the-Hill Station
A very urban, easy-to-follow walk on pavements the whole way, through Pinner, with various green spaces just off the route to break up the suburban feel. There are small undulating hills and but wide pavements give good access with no gates or barriers. The route passes under the roundabout near the Harrow end, avoiding the busy roads there.
Easy: 7km, moderate ascents.
