Some lane and field walking inland. Great beaches at Manorbier, Swanlake and Freshwater, with interesting places to explore at Church Door Cove and Skrinkle. A diversion at Manorbier leads to the YHA cafe. Plenty of facilities in Tenby and Pembroke.

Navigation just south of Lammaston Farm is tricky, where it is easy to drop too far south.

Pembroke Station to Pembroke Dock Station (Pembrokeshire)

Starts with a circuit of the Pembroke mill pond, then crosses a housing estate before meandering through ancient woodland on wide paths and with small brooks and hollow ways and sporadic estuary views. A gentle climb at Cuckoo Wood leads up to the built-up area of Pembroke Dock. Briefly follows the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Worth keeping dogs on leads, as there are sheep.
Tough: steep ascents. 3km.
